Behaviour Mentor – North Bristol (Full-Time, Primary SEN School)
Vision for Education is recruiting a full-time Behaviour Mentor in a primary SEN school in North Bristol. This is a challenging role supporting pupils with high levels of behaviour and SEMH needs, so a trauma-informed approach is essential.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support for pupils with complex needs

Use a trauma-informed approach to help pupils manage emotions

Support pupils to engage with learning and develop positive behaviour

Implement individual behaviour plans and strategies

Offer pastoral support throughout the school day

Work closely with teachers and staff on behaviour management
We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor who:

Has experience with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs

Can apply a trauma-informed approach
-
Is calm, patient, and resilient
-
Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils
-
Holds an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
