Behaviour Mentor – North Bristol (Full-Time, Primary SEN School)

Vision for Education is recruiting a full-time Behaviour Mentor in a primary SEN school in North Bristol. This is a challenging role supporting pupils with high levels of behaviour and SEMH needs, so a trauma-informed approach is essential.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group behaviour support for pupils with complex needs

• Use a trauma-informed approach to help pupils manage emotions

• Support pupils to engage with learning and develop positive behaviour

• Implement individual behaviour plans and strategies

• Offer pastoral support throughout the school day

• Work closely with teachers and staff on behaviour management

We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor who:

• Has experience with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs

• Can apply a trauma-informed approach

• Is calm, patient, and resilient

• Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils

• Holds an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
