About the role
Vision for Education are on the hunt for Teaching Assistants to join us to help support learners with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering tailored, engaging, and inclusive education to students who require additional support to reach their full potential.
Hours are 8:45 – 3:30pm, working in a Primary SEND School.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support learning
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
- Help manage classroom behaviour in a positive and proactive way
- Support students with additional needs, including SEND where required
- Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and participation
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting education
- Previous experience in a SEND setting is desirable but not essential
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are beneficial but not essential

About you:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant role, you will:
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
