A welcoming and supportive primary school in Scarborough is seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team for the full summer term on a long term supply basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed and experienced teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff while maintaining high standards in the classroom.

The Role:

• Full time Year 5 class teacher position

• Planning, teaching and assessing in line with the KS2 curriculum

• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment

• Working collaboratively with the wider school team to support pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

• Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5

• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and the ability to maintain clear routines and expectations

• Be adaptable, organised, and confident leading a class independently

• Be committed to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
