About the Role
- Deliver 1:1 tuition for students unable to attend mainstream education
- Support pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Deliver Maths and English sessions up to GCSE level
- Sessions range from 1–5 hours per day, from 2 to 5 days per week
- Flexible working across different settings, including students’ homes, libraries, or school sites
- Long-term placements to provide consistency and structure for students
- Work alongside social workers, SEN teams, and other professionals to support and feedback on student progress
Requirements
- Teaching qualification (e.g QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)
- Experience working with SEND students
- Confident delivering Maths and English
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Passion for supporting young people
