ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Secondary School Teaching Assistant in Stoke-on-Trent to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education, looking to gain valuable classroom experience or build a long-term career in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum
- Providing 1:1 support and small group interventions for students
- Assisting students with special educational needs (SEN) and additional learning needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and helping maintain a focused learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience working with children or young people (school, coaching, youth work, etc.)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for education and supporting student development
- Ability to adapt to different school environments in Stoke-on-Trent
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Salary
£90 to £110 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with children or young people (school, coaching, youth work, etc.)
