About the Role

Vision for Education is seeking a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive and inclusive school in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

The successful Teaching Assistant will support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive learning environment. The role may include supporting pupils with SEND and assisting with targeted interventions.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

• A positive, patient and proactive approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All applicants will be subject to enhanced DBS and reference checks in line with safeguarding requirements.
