Requirements

To be considered for this Teacher of German role, you must:

• Hold QTS or a PGCE (UK-recognised teaching qualification)
• Have recent experience teaching GCSE German (Years 10 and 11)
• Be available part-time for a one term cover
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be able to provide suitable references, a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and Right to Work in the UK

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate German Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Rochdale on a part-time, one term cover starting March 2026.

You’ll be teaching German across KS3 and KS4 (Years 7–11), delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire confidence and performance skills.
