Teacher of Childcare – Further Education
East Riding Area | Immediate Start (or September 2026)

Salary: £28,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Fixed-term (supply basis initially) with strong potential for permanent appointment
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

About the Role
Vision for Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded Further Education college in the East Riding area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Childcare. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking environment, helping to shape the future workforce of the Early Years sector. An immediate start is available, although applications from candidates available from September 2026 are also welcomed.

The Opportunity

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Childcare and Early Years programmes in Further Education
• Support delivery of T Level (Early Years) qualifications where applicable
• Inspire and motivate learners to achieve their academic and career goals
• Create an inclusive, supportive, and industry-relevant learning environment
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement

About You

• Experience teaching Childcare in a Further Education setting
• Ideally experience delivering T Level qualifications
• Strong subject knowledge of Early Years and Childcare practices
• A genuine passion for education and supporting learner progression
• Hold a relevant teaching qualification (or working towards one)
