The School and Role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at this Primary School in Ashington (NE63). The SEND Teaching Assistant appointed for the role will be working in a EYFS SEND provision, where there are around 8 children who all have EHCPs. The role will include general support, and some experience of SEND or EYFS work would be required. This is a ‘Good’ Primary School, where staff are committed to supporting each child and using adaptive strategies to meet children’s needs.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
