Vision for Education are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work within SEND settings in Birmingham, West Midlands.

About the Role

• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to promote positive learning experiences and support pupils’ personal development.
• Assist in meeting each child’s individual needs through tailored support strategies.
• Support pupils with communication, sensory regulation, and personal care routines.
• Promote wellbeing while encouraging independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, SEMH.
• Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
• Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
