SEN Teaching Assistant – Behaviour Support | Peterborough (Flexible Hours)

Vision for Education is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary schools in Peterborough. This role is perfect for anyone seeking flexible work while making a real difference for pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils in primary settings

• Use a trauma-informed approach to support pupils’ behaviour and wellbeing

• Help pupils engage with learning and build confidence

• Support teachers with classroom routines and behaviour management

• Be flexible and adaptable across different schools and pupil needs

We’re looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who:

• Are reliable, adaptable, and confident with challenging behaviour

• Have experience in SEN or primary schools

• Can remain calm and patient while building positive relationships

• Hold an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
