About the Role:
Vision for Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work in a range of supportive primary schools across Thurrock. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and supporting children, whether you have prior experience or are looking to begin a career in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupils’ learning
• Assist children with additional needs, including SEN, where required
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development
• Prepare classroom resources and assist with general classroom duties

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children (school-based or transferable experience)
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable but not essential
