Pay: £120 – £140 per day (depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Vision for Education are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work in an SEND school in Knowsley. This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday), starting as soon as possible, with the potential to lead to a permanent contract.
This role is split across the week. On Mondays and Fridays, the successful candidate will plan and deliver Maths lessons. From Tuesday to Thursday, the role will focus on planning and delivering 1:1 intervention sessions, supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant position, the school have asked for:
- Someone with experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
- Someone who has experience supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Someone confident planning and delivering Maths learning
- Someone experienced in delivering 1:1 or small-group interventions
- Someone with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to work independently
- Someone motivated to develop their skills within a specialist setting
