️ The Role

As a BTEC Art Tutor, you will:

Deliver and assess BTEC Art & Design programmes in line with Pearson specifications
Plan engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of learning needs
️ Support learners in developing practical, creative, and portfolio-based skills
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain accurate assessment and internal verification records
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities

✅ Essential Requirements

✔️ Qualified Teacher Status or OTS (Overseas Trained Status) recognised in the UK
✔️ Experience delivering BTEC Art & Design (Level 1–3 preferred)
✔️ Strong understanding of vocational assessment and portfolio building
✔️ Excellent classroom management and communication skills
✔️ A passion for supporting diverse and alternative provision learners
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

➕ Experience working within alternative provision or SEND settings
➕ Internal Verifier (IV) qualification
➕ Industry experience in Art & Design
