About the role
Vision for Education are looking for a full-time Year 5/ 6 Teacher to take up a one year contract (maternity cover) in a small friendly primary school with high aspirations for its learning community.
About the role
The role of Year 5/ 6 Teacher is a full time position commencing after February half term. The desired Primary Teacher will be confident with delivery and planning of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and be able to effectively communicate with the phase leader with regards to pupil progress and the topics covered. The successful candidate will be expected to teach all core and foundation subjects and have good behaviour management skills, acting in line with the school’s values and ethos. The school are looking for an engaging and creative practitioner of any experience level.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 5/ 6 Teacher you will:
- Be able to plan, deliver and mark all work to a high standard
- Have KS2 teaching experience
- Have an inclusve approach to working with children and a therapeautic approach to working with children with additional needs
- Flexibility of working a new and exciting setting

Salary
£31,600 to £46,500 per year
Pro-rata for 0.6
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified Teacher Status
