About the role

Primary Supply Teacher

Manchester – Crumpsall and surrounding areas.
Start Date: April (after Easter).
Contract: Long-term with additional daily supply opportunities available.
Salary: £600 – £800 per week (dependent on experience and pay scale).
Qualification: QTS required.

The Role

We are recruiting a flexible and reliable Primary Cover Supply Teacher to work across a range of primary schools in Manchester (Crumpsall and surrounding areas).

This role is ideal for a supply teacher seeking day-to-day and short-term teaching work, with the opportunity to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 depending on your preference and experience.

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage the classroom effectively, and ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher. Schools are supportive and well-resourced, making this a great opportunity to build experience across different settings while maintaining flexibility.

You’ll have the freedom to choose when you work, making this role perfect for teachers looking for a better work-life balance or a variety of school environments.


Requirements

To be considered for this Primary Supply Teacher role in Manchester, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have recent experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
  • Be confident delivering pre-planned lessons across different year groups.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and able to work in different school settings.
  • Be available for day-to-day or short-term supply work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS
  • Experience
