Year 1 Teacher

£32,000- £44,000 - equivalent to MPS (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) & pro rata'd
Start date: February 2026
The School and Role
This ‘Good’ primary school, based in Peterborough are looking to appoint a passionate Year 1 Teacher to work on a part-time basis, 8:30am - 15:30pm. This is a friendly and welcoming school with a supportive team of staff. Recent experience working in KS1 is preferable, but newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
This is a temporary contract until the end of term but could potentially turn permanent.
Requirements
- To hold QTS
- To have relevanet, referenceable teaching experience
The desired Year 1 Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children, ideally KS1
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
