This role is perfect for someone looking to develop their career in education, especially within alternative provision. You’ll be working with students who have SEMH, ADHD, and anxiety, helping them thrive in their learning environment. If you're dedicated to helping young learners succeed, this is the role for you!

About the Role:

  • Provide essential support to students in both group and one-on-one settings, focusing on behaviour management and emotional well-being.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow both socially and emotionally.
  • Gain valuable experience working with students who have a range of needs, including SEMH, ADHD, and anxiety-related challenges.
  • Help implement effective strategies that encourage positive behaviour, emotional growth, and resilience.
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive, collaborative atmosphere.
  • Support students in developing their social skills, emotional understanding, and personal resilience.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Enthusiastic about making a real difference in the lives of students with SEMH, ADHD, and anxiety-related challenges.
  • Able to build meaningful, trusting relationships with students, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged.
  • Motivational and inspiring, with a natural ability to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents in a compassionate and effective manner.
  • Passionate about working in a special educational needs (SEND) environment and committed to helping students overcome their challenges.
  • Available to work 5 days a week, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm.
  • EWC Registered (we can help you with this if you haven’t registered yet).

What We Offer You:

  • Competitive pay rates from £88.92 to £101.92 per day, paid weekly with no payroll charges.
  • Ongoing support from an experienced consultant to help you thrive in your role.
  • Access to free, high-quality training in areas like SEMH, ADHD, classroom management, and safeguarding to help you grow professionally.
  • Pension contributions to help you plan for your future.
  • Recognition for your hard work and dedication to supporting students.
