Vision for Education are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Blackburn, Lancashire. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils within the school’s SEND department, working closely with students who have SEMH needs.

The role:

• Full-time Teaching Assistant position in Blackburn, Lancashire

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• Ability to support students with SEMH needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Relevant Teaching Assistant or support work experience is desirable
