Teaching Assistant (Full Time / Part Time) - Newport
Salary: £444.60 – £509.60 per week (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Vision for Education is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in the Newport area. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about education and supporting children’s development within primary schools.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and helping pupils reach their full potential. Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting learning activities within the classroom

Working with small groups or providing one-to-one support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

Assisting pupils across the Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2
-
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Flexibility, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential for this role.
Requirements

Experience working with primary school-aged children

Experience supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

A strong commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (support available)

Registration with the Educational Workforce Council (EWC) (support available)
-
Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential
