Role: Teaching Assistant Level 2
Start date: March 2026
Contract: Full-time, 1 year
Salary: £1720 - £2100 per month
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will have:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting

A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, flexible and supportive approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Suitable references, a valid Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply), and Right to Work in the UK
About the role
Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join a supportive and hardworking team. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to support students’ learning, development and wellbeing, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning activities within the classroom under the direction of teaching staff

Work with individuals and small groups of students to support their academic progress

Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning resources and classroom activities

Support students with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum

Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment

Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement

Support with pastoral care and student wellbeing where required
