We’re looking for caring, adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistants to join our network of supportive primary schools across Bristol. Whether you have classroom experience, transferable skills from childcare/youth work, or a strong interest in SEN, we’d love to hear from you.
From 1:1 support to small-group interventions and general classroom assistance, you’ll play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience supporting children or transferable skills (youth work, care, nursery, coaching, mentoring)
• Be patient, positive and confident when supporting learning and behaviour
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Be proactive and able to follow routines, class plans and SEN strategies
• Enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to a nurturing classroom environment
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Be reliable, adaptable and happy to step into different year groups when needed
