About the role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a History Teacher for an excellent secondary school in Preston.
The ideal candidate will hold QTS and will be a subject specialist in History. This role will start September 2022.
The school have a well resourced and supportive humanities department so happy to consider either an NQT/ECT looking to start or complete part of their induction year as well as an experienced teacher.

The school is situated in Preston and is a large co-educational setting for ages 11-16. The successful History Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly Humanities department. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.
Requirements
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
- Be adaptable and flexible
- Have a flexible approach to work and be able to think on your feet
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
- Have excellent classroom management skills

Salary
£125 to £189 per hour
