Teacher – ASC & Social Communication Needs | North Bristol (Full-Time, Must Be a Driver)

Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated Teacher to join a primary SEN school in North Bristol, supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and social & communication needs. This is a rewarding role where you’ll make a real difference helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with ASC and social communication needs

• Support pupils with challenging behaviour using a trauma-informed approach

• Lead 1:1 and small group interventions

• Promote positive communication, social skills, and independence

• Collaborate closely with SEN staff, teaching assistants, and parents

• Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

• Travel within school grounds or between sites as required (must be a driver)

We’re Looking For:

• Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in SEN, ASC, or complex needs

• Skilled in behaviour management and trauma-informed practice

• Calm, patient, and adaptable with pupils who may present challenging behaviour

• Reliable driver with access to a vehicle

• Strong communicator and team player

• Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain)
