Vision for Education are looking for a calm, reliable Support Worker to join a specialist SEN school in Salisbury. This is a full-time, long-term Support Worker role, working closely with pupils who need consistent, patient support to access their education.
As a Support Worker, you will support children and young people with a range of needs including autism, communication difficulties, learning needs, sensory differences, and SEMH. This is a classroom-based role where building trust, routine, and positive relationships is key.
The Ideal Support Worker Will:

Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable

Understand that behaviour is a form of communication

Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils

Work well alongside school staff and pastoral teams

Remain calm during challenging moments

Follow safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries

Be looking for a long-term Support Worker role in education
Experience in SEN, care, or youth work is helpful but not essential.
