Vision for Education are looking for a calm, reliable Support Worker to join a specialist SEN school in Salisbury. This is a full-time, long-term Support Worker role, working closely with pupils who need consistent, patient support to access their education.

As a Support Worker, you will support children and young people with a range of needs including autism, communication difficulties, learning needs, sensory differences, and SEMH. This is a classroom-based role where building trust, routine, and positive relationships is key.

The Ideal Support Worker Will:

  • Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable

  • Understand that behaviour is a form of communication

  • Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils

  • Work well alongside school staff and pastoral teams

  • Remain calm during challenging moments

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries

  • Be looking for a long-term Support Worker role in education

Experience in SEN, care, or youth work is helpful but not essential.

About the Support Worker Role:

  • Full-time, long-term Support Worker position in Salisbury
