The successful Speech and Language SEND Teaching Assistant in Blackpool, Lancashire will work closely with a Key Stage 1 pupil who has complex needs, significant speech and language difficulties and very low academic ability.

As a Speech and Language SEND Teaching Assistant in Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual communication and learning needs.

• Implement speech and language strategies recommended by external professionals.

• Use structured interventions and visual supports to promote communication and engagement.

• Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENDCO and external agencies to monitor progress and review provision.
