We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Sociology Teacher to join a successful and forward-thinking Humanities department based in Birchwood.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and help them develop a deeper understanding of society, culture, and human behaviour. You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons and supporting students to achieve their best at GCSE and A-Level.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Sociology across KS4 and KS5.

Plan and deliver creative, challenging lessons that engage and motivate students.

Assess student progress and provide effective feedback.

Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives.

Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and engagement.
About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Experience teaching Sociology at GCSE and/or A-Level.

Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for social sciences.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
