Part-Time Geography Teacher (QTS) – Macclesfield

Wednesdays & Thursdays

Vision for Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Macclesfield to appoint a motivated and committed Geography Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis (Wednesdays and Thursdays) from January 2026 until the Easter break, with the potential for the role to extend.

This school has a strong local reputation, and temporary staff are well supported and regularly welcomed back. This role would suit a qualified teacher seeking a consistent, high-quality placement with excellent work-life balance.

The Role:

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Marking and assessment in line with school policies
• Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and engagement
• Working collaboratively within a supportive department

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching Geography KS3 and KS4
• Confident behaviour management
• A positive, flexible, and professional approach
• The ability to quickly build strong relationships

Salary
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
