A highly supportive and inclusive school in Lincoln is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a meaningful difference to pupils with additional needs.
In this role, you will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide tailored support, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You will help adapt learning materials, implement targeted interventions, and support pupils in developing both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate will be patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with SEND. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged and supported to succeed.
Requirements:
To be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will:
• Have previous experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
• Be patient, empathetic, and resilient in your approach
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to creating an inclusive learning environment
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
