Vision for Education are working with a specialist school in Peterborough who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within a classroom setting in a specialist provision.

About the role

We’re looking for a calm, nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to support within this well-resourced, specialist provision in Peterborough. The candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, calm under pressure and able to build positive relationships with pupils. The ability to work collaboratively with parents, class teachers and other professionals is also beneficial.

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Have a range of behaviour management skills and be able to adapt learning methods to meet the needs of pupils

Salary

£65 to £80 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Hold a DBS on the update service, or be willing to process one with us
  • Have some experience or knowledge of working with SEN children
