Vision For Education are working in partnership with an SEN School situated in the picturesque town of Sevenoaks for a Residential Children's Keyworker. This school is a leading institution dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Children's Keyworker to join this vibrant, diverse supportive team. As a Keyworker, your role is important in helping students with complex physical and health needs to develop and achieve. Working across the school and home living area, you will be working in an environment where your efforts and commitment can have life-changing results. Your ambition for the young people will help them to take the next steps in fulfilling their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with special educational needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with students.
  • Implement individual care plans, ensuring each child's specific needs are met.
  • Support the educational, social, and emotional development of the children.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive residential environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Participate in and organize recreational and therapeutic activities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of the children.
  • Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a residential or SEN setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or a willingness to complete this qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
