The Role
We’re looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to become part of a supportive and collaborative classroom team. In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with students with Autism and a range of Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), providing tailored support that truly makes a difference.
You’ll support pupils on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis, using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies to help them engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. From classroom activities to regular trips, every day offers the opportunity to help students grow, achieve, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
The School
Based in East Grinstead, this welcoming and inclusive SEN school supports pupils aged 4–19. The school is deeply committed to recognising and nurturing each child’s individual needs, with a strong focus on both learning and personal development-including life skills and personal care where required.
Staff consistently highlight the positive, team-oriented atmosphere and the genuine support they receive from colleagues and leadership. With ongoing training and regular CPD opportunities, this is an excellent environment to develop your skills, build experience, and take the next step in your career.
