We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking SEN secondary school that is expanding over the next 12 months – creating exciting opportunities for dedicated staff to grow, develop, and progress their careers.

The Role:

• Full-time position within a specialist SEN secondary school
• Supporting students with a range of needs, including:
• ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) – including non-verbal students
• SLD / MLD (Severe & Moderate Learning Difficulties)
• PMLD (Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties)
• Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support and meaningful learning experiences
• Encouraging independence, communication, and social development

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Current or previous experience as an SEN TA (essential)
• Experience supporting one or more of the following:
• ASC (including non-verbal communication)
• SLD / MLD
• PMLD
• A genuine passion for SEN and a desire to make a long-term difference
• A proactive, patient, and resilient approach

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with personal care
• Moving and handling training
• Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g. PECS, Makaton, AAC)
