Vision for Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND provision in the Cheltenham area to recruit a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant. This SEN Learning Support Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people with complex additional needs in a structured, nurturing environment.
We are looking for a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.
About the Role - SEN Learning Support Assistant
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs including autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities.
In this SEN Learning Support Assistant role, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support
- Assist pupils with emotional regulation and communication
- Support engagement in learning activities
- Help build positive routines and independence
- Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff

- Comes from a background in care, youth work, coaching, or support work (desirable but not essential)
