Full-Time LSA – SEMH Primary School (BS10)

We’re looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to work full-time in a specialist SEMH primary setting in Bristol, supporting pupils with behavioural needs and, at times, physical behaviours.

This is a hands-on role where building trust, staying calm under pressure, and creating a safe, consistent environment are key. Every day is different, but the impact you make is real.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom

• Managing behaviour through patience, structure, and positive relationships

• Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage with learning

• Working closely with experienced staff in a supportive team environment

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Is calm, resilient, and confident managing behaviours

• Can build strong, professional relationships with vulnerable pupils

• Has experience supporting children or adults with additional needs (desirable)

• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one

• Is reliable and ready to be part of a consistent daily routine

Pay: £106 – £110 per day

Working with Vision for Education means weekly PAYE pay, ongoing support, and the chance to secure a long-term role where you can really make a difference.

This role is a zero hour contract, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
