Full-Time LSA – SEMH Primary School (BS10)
Behaviour Support | Routine & Structure | Immediate Start
We’re looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to work full-time in a specialist SEMH primary setting in Bristol, supporting pupils with behavioural needs and, at times, physical behaviours.
This is a hands-on role where building trust, staying calm under pressure, and creating a safe, consistent environment are key. Every day is different, but the impact you make is real.
What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom

Managing behaviour through patience, structure, and positive relationships

Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage with learning

Working closely with experienced staff in a supportive team environment
We’re Looking For Someone Who

Is calm, resilient, and confident managing behaviours
-
Can build strong, professional relationships with vulnerable pupils

Has experience supporting children or adults with additional needs (desirable)

Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one

Is reliable and ready to be part of a consistent daily routine
Pay: £106 – £110 per day
Working with Vision for Education means weekly PAYE pay, ongoing support, and the chance to secure a long-term role where you can really make a difference.
This role is a zero hour contract, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
