Teacher of Religious Studies – Long-Term Supply
School in Cheshire | Start Date: 14 April 2026 (Summer Term)
Vision for Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Cheshire, near Warrington, to recruit a Teacher of Religious Studies to start after the Easter break on 14 April 2026. This is a long-term supply role for the summer term, with the potential to run until the end of the academic year in July.
The Role
- Teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Maintain good classroom behaviour and routines
- Work as part of a supportive humanities department

Requirements
- QTS / QTLS / PGCE
- Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level
- Strong classroom management
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- Suitable teaching references
Pay
Competitive daily rate depending on experience and qualifications.
