Daily pay ranging from £92.56 - £105.56 per day

Vision for Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic, compassionate and adaptable Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools and specialist settings throughout Monmouthshire and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for psychology graduates looking to gain practical experience supporting pupils with a range of learning, behavioural and emotional needs while developing valuable skills within an educational setting.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage with learning, develop emotional regulation, build confidence and form positive relationships in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

The Role
You may support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- ASC – Autism Spectrum Condition
- ADHD – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- SEMH – Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
- Behavioural and emotional difficulties
- Moderate and severe learning difficulties
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
- Help pupils remain engaged with classroom learning
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Build supportive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery
- Adapt learning approaches to meet individual pupil needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and wider support staff
What We’re Looking For
To succeed as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Hold a degree in Psychology or a related subject
- Have a genuine interest in supporting children and young people
- Be patient, adaptable and empathetic in your approach
- Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Be confident working within school environments
- Demonstrate resilience, professionalism and enthusiasm
