The School and Role

Are you an inspiring and committed teacher looking to make a real impact in Key Stage 2? We are seeking a motivated KS2 Teacher to work in a supportive and forward-thinking primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to help pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning as they progress through upper primary years.

As part of the role the successful candidate will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for statutory assessments, including SATs.
• Use assessments effectively to track progress and raise attainment.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assess pupils progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents.

The successful Teacher will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in KS2.
• A strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment.
• To create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• To work as part of a collaborative and caring team.
• To show enthusiasm, creativity and excellent classroom management skills.
