Vision for Education, a Welsh government-approved agency based in Cardiff, is seeking passionate and qualified Primary Teachers to work in a cluster of supportive and well-regarded primary schools across Cwmbran. These roles are available from May 2025 and include both short-term and long-term supply opportunities across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.

These schools are known for their collaborative staff teams, excellent pupil engagement, and vibrant learning environments. If you’re a Primary Teacher looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact while enjoying flexibility, this could be the ideal fit.

The Primary Teacher role involves:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Planning and marking where required in longer-term placements

• Supporting pupils of all abilities to make progress

• Maintaining effective behaviour management within the classroom

• Working with teaching assistants and other staff to provide consistent support

• Contributing to school life where possible, supporting a positive and inclusive atmosphere

We’re looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK

• Can be available full-time or part-time depending on their preference

• Has access to transport – preferred but not essential

• Is confident in teaching across Foundation Phase or KS2

• Has strong classroom management and a positive, proactive approach

• Is passionate about delivering meaningful, engaging lessons

• Is registered or willing to register with the EWC (support provided if needed)

• Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply (we can help)
