About the Role
As a primary/nursery teaching assistant, you will:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the primary/nursery curriculum.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help children meet learning objectives.
- Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour within the classroom.
- Assist in preparing resources and adapting activities to support different learning needs.
- Help create an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of primary/nursery teaching assistant, you will:
- Have experience supporting children within a school or similar setting.
- Hold a relevant qualification or demonstrate practical classroom experience.
- Be confident in supporting behaviour and encouraging positive outcomes.
- Possess a DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).
- Be patient, adaptable, and committed to helping all pupils succeed.
- Have experience working with children of primary/nursery age.
