The Role

Vision for Education are working with a welcoming specialist school in Hexham to recruit a compassionate and committed PMLD Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time supply role, starting in Immediately (once registered) supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact in a nurturing and inclusive setting. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality care and education for children with complex needs. Candidates with a moving and handling qualification are highly desirable.

Requirements
The successful PMLD Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience of working with primary or secondary-aged children.

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, ideally PMLD.

• Excellent communication skills and a caring, resilient approach.

• A passion for helping every pupil reach their potential.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
