Pay Rate: £88.92 – £101.92 per day (depending on experience)

Vision for Education is currently recruiting a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive Learning Support Worker to join a supportive and inclusive 3–19 special needs school in the Cwmbran area. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning needs and making a meaningful difference in education.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Worker in Cwmbran, you will collaborate closely with teachers and specialist staff to support pupils with a variety of additional learning needs. These may include autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
You will play an essential role in helping learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally within a positive and nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver one-to-one and small group support to pupils

Assist children with a range of SEN and additional learning needs

Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management

Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional development

Follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and safeguarding policies

Provide personal care support where required
Requirements
-
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (desirable)

A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3, Learning Support, SEN, or equivalent (preferred)
