We are seeking dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistants for a rewarding full-time role within one of our partnering schools in Caerphilly.
The role
- 1:1 Support: Provide personalised support to pupils with additional needs in the classroom.
- Inclusive Teaching: Adapt approaches to meet individual learning needs and create an inclusive environment.
- Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with the class teacher on general tasks, resource preparation, and tailored learning materials.
Requirements
The desired Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience of working with primary school aged children.
- Experience of working with pupils with ALN.
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong adaptability and communication skills.
- Behaviour Management.
- Compliance – Ability to provide suitable references and complete an Enhanced DBS check (we can support with this process).
