About the School & Role:
We are looking for compassionate and adaptable Learning Support Assistants to work across a variety of SEN schools in the Bournemouth area, supporting pupils with needs such as autism (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a key part in helping students feel supported, confident, and ready to learn by providing one-to-one and small group assistance, working closely with teachers, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This Learning Support Assistant role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils, use creative and flexible approaches to support learning, and make a genuine difference to each child’s development, all while gaining valuable experience across different school settings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND (or transferrable skills)
- A passion for working in education
- A caring, patient nature
- Friendly and nurturing qualities
- Comfortable delivering personal care
