Learning Support Assistant - £89 - £100 per day
About the role
We are looking for an experienced and patient Learning Support Assistant to work in a Primary School in Peterborough. You will be working with children who have a variety of special educational needs, on a one-to-one basis and also within small focus groups.
About the role
As a Learning Support Assistant, your role will be varied-whether it’s supporting the teacher in the classroom, creating a calm environment in quieter areas of the school, or helping children engage with daily routines. Most importantly, you’ll be empowering pupils to access their learning, build confidence, and feel included in school life.
This is a long-term role with the potential of going permanent for the right candidate!

You will be working within a supportive team at this two-form entry school which is genuinely commited to the inclusion of all pupils.
Requirements:
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting
- Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Have experience of working with children with SEND
- Be able to work on a full-time basis
- Ideally be able to drive and have access to a car
You will also need to provide:
- Two references to support recent employment
- A full clear DBS

Salary
£89 to £100 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
