Level 3 Learning Support Assistant – Primary (Long-Term Role Available)

Bristol | Full-time | Level 3 Qualified or Equivalent Experience

We’re working with a welcoming and values-driven primary setting in Bristol that is seeking an experienced Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of academic support, pastoral care, and taking initiative within the classroom.

You’ll work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, help shape learning activities, and ensure pupils feel confident, calm and ready to succeed. This is a brilliant opportunity for an LSA who wants to take on more responsibility and play a key part in children’s day-to-day progress.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting teaching and learning through well-prepared, differentiated activities
• Helping to adapt lessons for pupils with varying needs, including those with additional support plans
• Assisting with behaviour, wellbeing and pastoral guidance when required
• Using ICT confidently to enhance learning and help pupils become more independent
• Providing 1:1 or small-group support where needed, helping bridge learning gaps
• Working collaboratively with teachers to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 3 TA/LSA qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Has strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English/Maths or equivalent)
• Can work confidently with individuals and small groups
• Understands how to stretch learners’ thinking and encourage independence
• Brings a calm, proactive, and nurturing approach to every day
• Has experience working in a primary classroom or a similar setting
• Is committed to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of all pupils

Why apply through us:

• Competitive daily rates, paid weekly
• Access to long-term roles and potential temp-to-perm pathways
• A dedicated consultant who understands your experience and career goals
• Opportunities to work across a range of supportive Bristol primary schools
• Regular CPD and training sessions to further your professional development
• No umbrella company deductions – straightforward, reliable pay

If you're ready to step into a role where you can make a genuine difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step in your journey supporting primary-aged children to thrive.
