This KS2 Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone with strong Key Stage 2 experience who is confident supporting pupils across Years 3–6. As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils stay engaged, make progress, and feel supported throughout their learning journey.
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2

Delivering small group interventions in core subjects such as English and Maths

Providing targeted 1:1 support

Assisting with SATs preparation and booster sessions

Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEND

Managing low-level behaviour confidently and positively

Preparing classroom resources and supporting daily routines

Encouraging independence, resilience, and positive learning attitudes

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a confident and proactive KS2 Teaching Assistant who:

Can support pupils of mixed abilities

Has strong behaviour management skills

Is reliable, adaptable, and professional

Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
