KS2 Interventions Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside
Full-time, long-term | Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM

Are you confident in delivering interventions to help KS2 pupils make measurable progress? We’re seeking a proactive and enthusiastic TA to join a supportive North Tyneside primary school. This role focuses on providing targeted support to pupils, helping them achieve their learning goals and build confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions across KS2, including literacy, numeracy, and SEND support

• Follow structured intervention programs and adapt resources to meet individual pupil needs

• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers to inform future learning

• Encourage independence, resilience, and self-belief in pupils

• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Assist with classroom preparation and support learning when not delivering interventions

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting KS2 or primary-aged children, ideally with SEND

• Confidence delivering targeted interventions and tracking pupil progress

• A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Commitment to helping pupils achieve their potential
