The School and Role:
Are you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) This school, based in Leeds are looking to appoint a passionate HLTA to work with pupils on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. Working in this School as part of an established team, the desired HLTA will be working with a high volume of staff with pupils with challenging behaviour and send needs.
Requirements:
The desired HLTA will have;
- A passion for working with children with additional needs
- Experience with SEND
- Understanding of how to work with children with complex needs whilst focusing on both there educational and additional needs.
- A passion for the progress of children with complexed needs
- An ability to work as part of a team
- An HLTA qualification or similar
