The School and Role

Secondary schools and academies in Beverley and surrounding areas seek to appoints Graduate Teachers from January 2026. The successful Graduate Teacher will work as a Cover Supervisor, covering secondary school classes of all subjects. As a Cover Supervisor you will not be expected to a subject specialist in the classes you cover, your responsibility will be to deliver the lesson and ensure pupils are kept on task. Full training can be provided by Vision For Education. This role provides the perfect opportunity for graduates exploring a career as a Teacher to gain valuable paid experience. Successful graduates will beneift from full and ongoing accredtied training. If you are a graduates that is consdiring a career as a teacher, then this is the perfect role for you! Vision for education work in partnership with a number of secondary schools and academies across Hull and The East Riding of Yorkshire. Working with our partnering schools we are able to offer part time, full time and flexible positions to graduates. Over the years we have seen many of our employers move onto teacher training with our parterned schools and forge great careers as teachers. .

Requirements

The desired Cover Supervisor will have;

- An interest in working in education and with young people

- Degree (desired) or A-level Education (minimum)

- A Desire to positively impact the lives and education of young people

- a resilient, adaptable and motivated personalilty

- An ability to work as part of a team
